1. Yep, Joe is an acceptional VP

and a very valuable asset to this White House. He brings so much knowledge and experience to the job and Obama is wise to take advantage of it. Little by little, the media is finally giving Joe the credit he deserves.

2. I don't know which repup talking head I heard last week declare

that he wants to see the Biden Policy on Afghanistan, that it is Biden that is changing Obama's mind.

Pakistan has always been Joe's passion. I really believe he understands that government better than most.
It's as if Biden, Holbrooke and Kerry all are on the same page.

Wonder what Obama will do. He is really caught in the middle of this debate with not much foreign policy experience of his own.
He's got the Generals on the ground on one side, and the people that truly understand that region on the other.

5. Boy, that was a good piece, ellen -- thanks! I often wish "they" in the WH could

read all the stuff that we can, watch the same clips, etc., but I doubt they have the time. They could learn a lot and get some "fresh" input but listening to those outside of their circle. Except for Joe, of course, he gets it, and as noted, let's his opinions be known.
