1. You go, Jim Lehrer!
Trying to catch up on what I missed over the last few days while being in the mountains, I'm watching taped shows of The Nightly News with Jim Lehrer...he started his Friday's show playing long clips of Biden discussing the economy.

I guess if you want to know what Biden has been up to, turn off cable news and watch the news on PBS. He also did a great job of reporting Joe's trip to the Balkans and Lebanon.

2. Its good to know someone is giving him some credit
As frustrated as I get sometimes, I have a feeling that eventually Joe will get the acknowledgment he deserves. Something will happen over the course of the next eight years that will put a major focus on our VP and hopefully cancel out all the ridiculous gaffe crap.

3. I hope you're right Pat.
I just worry that they will be too focused on his gaffes to notice.

He did get alot of credit for Arlen Specter changing over, but that was short lived.

He does so much. That's what's so nice about The Newshour, they just report on what he is doing without any spin.
All the news they report on is that way. It's such a refreshing change.

4. I don't know what it will be,
but it will probably be big, though I would have thought his visit to Bosnia would have gotten some Media attention. Silly me!

Maybe Ed Schultz will set the tone. He doesn't get into that stupid gaffe crap. He's been very fair with Joe, even though he was very critical of him during the early primaries. Neither Hillary or Joe would come on his show and he gave them hell on air for quite some time.

5. Ed and Jim Lehrer
that's all I watch anymore.

I still record KO and but he is usually just white noise to me. He has the same 5 stories on every nite. Getting old, especially with these other two news shows.

6. I find I'm watching less cable news
I used to have the TV on for most of the day, but not so much anymore. There's only so much that I can absorb.
