1. Rachel did a segment on him.
For a drug czar (which many people think is not necessary) this guy is okay, very moderate.

2. I wish they'd quit using that word, "czar"
It has a negative sound to it. We don't really need a "drug czar", we need more reasonable drug laws. The money spent on this useless war against drugs could be used for something more constructive.

He did seem to be moderate. Hopefully we'll see some positive changes in the area of drugs. Time to clean out the prisons of all those nonviolent drug offenders.

3. I agree. And this whole "War on this and that".
Can we just drop the words Czar and War from politics?

4. Exactly
The way they use the word "war" is so inappropriate. It is more of a PR term. The worst is when they declare a "war on" a disease. It sounds so childish and ignorant. As soon as anyone puts the tag "war on" in front of a problem, I know it won't be solved. Its almost like someone is saying, "we don't know how to fix it, so we'll just say we're declaring a war on it."

6. I doubt it
Such semantics are symptomatic of an aggressive, bully-like society, one that focuses more on destroying things than fixing them.
