Thinking of Michelle and the girls.

Hope this isn't too much of a 'mom' thing for this highly influential spot, but I'd like to encourage positive thoughts for these guys during a very busy and important weekend for them! They're at home in Chicago, will arrive in DC Sunday, and the girls will begin their academic year at their new school Monday! This would be challenging even for a 'regular' family!

SO please send them some positive thoughts!

2. When they first arrive, they'll stay at Hay-Adams hotel, across Lafayette Park from WH.

On 15th, they'll 'move' to Blair House, across PENNA AVE from WH; 20th (19th?) to WH.

Yes, I expect/hope that Biden clan will help a lot.

5. Those two girls are so cute!

I even caught Wolf Blitzer on how cute they were & he was very sincere! He can rarely say anthing good about any dem. And Michelle is so lovely. She will bring a great sense of style to the White House. The dresses she wore at the convention were all so beautiful. Simple, not overdone, but gorgeous! It will be so refreshing to have a First Lady who doesn't dress in drapery material! (Remember that hideous gold suit that Cindy wore one time? ~retch!)

I was watching the Obama's get on the plane yesterday & my heart soared that we have a young family in the White House again. Is it just me or is that fact alone somewhat rejuvenating?

This family will be in the news every week and the country won't get tired of the photos and stories, much like it was with JFK. I think certain magazine subscriptions will be going up!
