SECOND pup!
'The vice president-elect said his family intends to get another puppy from the pound so that his new yet-to-be-named puppy will have companionship.

"I've had German Shepherds since I was a kid and I've actually trained them and shown them in the past," Biden said. "So I wanted a German Shepherd and we're going to get a pound dog, which my wife wants, who is hopefully a Golden ."

Biden said his family has always had pound animals, including a cat from the pound.

"The good news about the vice president's residence is that there's a big fence around several acres," Biden said.'

2. I'm sure he will. Pic heavy...
Watching two of my dogs play together is so much fun. They love to play with me, but when they really want to play, they have their own dog games. My third for the most part is out of the loop. Three's a crowd I guess, so he's just stuck with boring old me, who doesn't appreciate being knocked down and gnawed on like the other two do to each other.

5. I've finally got all three of them to vet-approved weight.
They weigh around 100 each. And yes, they do have a lot of fluff! The one male likes to lie on my lap at night. That's one heavy, but warm blanket.

6. Like a "warm blanket"....lol
Even when I was pregnant my male 20 pound cat would sleep on top of me. Animals like the warmth I guess.

8. Oh - they are beautiful!
100 lbs each? Wow - my lap dog is 50 lbs of muscle...I can't image a 100 pounder!

They definitely look like they are having fun.

7. That's cool
Sounds like he's been paying attention to the noise about pound pups and breeders.

Two is certainly better than one!

9. Good ! I'm glad to hear that.
And Joe's German Shepard is definitely lucky to go home with Joe instead of staying at that place.

Wonder what he'll get?
