Interesting little tidbit from the Chicago SunTimes -
• • Sneed is told Biden, whose duties have yet to become publicly outlined as Obama's veep, has been asked by his boss to help . . . Hillary!

I can't say I'm surprised.
And it's probably a good thing since Joe has alot of contacts on the ground all over the world.
It just kinda hit me as being a little weird. Must be coming from the part of my brain that still says Joe is more qualified to be SoS than Hillary.

But this part really pisses me off -
• To wit: It's deadline time! Obama wants Biden to help erase the massive presidential campaign debt of U.S. Sen. Clinton, his next secretary of state, which was tabbed at $7.5 million to vendors. Most of it is the $5.3 million owed to top adviser Mark Penn.

• • The buckshot: As the nation's top diplomat, Hillary needs to erase the debt fast to escape any conflict-of-interest burbles.

I supported Hillary after Biden dropped out, but I just don't see why this pressure is being put on Joe. Didn't Obama see Joe's fundraising numbers? :P

2. I know - I can understand the SoS part -
but NOT to help her retire her debt.
It seems kinda sleezy if you ask me. The VP begging for $ for the Sec of State?
And besides - Biden was terrible at fundraising. He was at the bottom, only above Gravel.
(Not sure about Kucinich).
Why not Richardson? He is the new head of commerce ;)

3. Yeah, Richardson would have been a better choice
Joe just doesn't seem to like asking for money. I don't think Richardson would have any problems in that area. I think he'd do anything to be in Obama's favor.

5. Maybe he should sell that life size cutout of himself.
Ladies - you can have Joe Biden in your boudoir (spelling?) just $45.
All proceeds go to Hillary Clinton.

Now - if they start selling DesertedRose's favorite pic of Joe, they might be able to make more :)

6. ROFL! He can charm the pants off all women
and maybe some of their dollars too, for Hillary.
