1. It's probably partly because he can't remember who's on his short list.

Then when reminded, he can't remember what the pluses and minuses were. After reviewing those facts, he's back to square one...who's on my list? Huckleberry, did you say? Nate...oh, yeah...Mitt, that's right. I imagine talking to him at times is like a "Who's on First" routine.

I don't mean to be unkind, but there is a memory problem here. My dad's memory is really sliding, so I can sympathize, however, I don't want my dad being in charge of a whole lot lately. Someone with memory problems like that just can't help it, but you don't elect them to be the Prez.

Oh, yeah, then there's that little problem of Biden. Who the hell can beat him in a debate? About the only person I think could maybe take him on is Clinton, Bill, that is, and I'm not sure he would win.

I love our Biden. Can't get enough of him. Since Obama chose him, I've realized I was still pretty depressed about Biden not succeeding in his bid for the Prez. My whole mood is different.

Check mate, indeed, and I love it!
