He is a former aide to Biden and he is explaining about Joe's amendment to the IWR that was blocked by Gephardt and Lieberman, saying if it had passed, there may have never been a war. It is so great hearing these things in the MSM, knocking down all the one-liners we've had to deal with for so long.

I can't believe it - today is all Biden, all day long!

1. I read something about that here the other day --

and (if I'm remembering correctly) that Gephardt influenced Colin Powell to talk to Joe and give him assurances. That's the first I ever heard Gephardt's or Powell's names mentioned. Also, that Gephardt did what he could to make sure that amendment "never saw the light of day."

Do you know about that?

I was going to come here and ask for info/ammo, because I need to educate myself on that issue. I'll go lookin' but if anybody can present it in a clear, concise way, I'd be deeply appreciative.

2. Gephardt was all chummy with Bush

who told him not to let Biden's amendment see the light of day. What is cool, is someone is finally explaining it on national TV.

I remember some of it from his book, but I don't have the book here right now.

We've been talking about that amendment for over a year and finally someone comes out and backs up the story.
