Obama blew it, if it really is Joe, since it's been confirmed that
Kaine and Bayh are out of the running. If the MSM's picks were correct, that leaves Joe. Already a little anticlimactic.

1. But way too dramatic to leave Joe in the lurch.

2. True - it's already a done deal.
And if it's not Joe at this point, I'm going to be pissed that the media played him like this.

3. imagine if they had announced ANYONE back on Mon. or Tues.
wouldn't that have been more fun? I don't know. If they were going to wait this long, shouldn't they have started the whole text message signup thing Monday or something?

4. They just should have sent the text immediately after they notified
Kaine and Bayh -- before that word got out and by process of elimination, we know it's Joe.

5. What would be worse
would be if they let that impression persist and then announce someone different. I wouldn't be able to watch Obama for quite a while afterwards.

6. No. I think they're in too deep to Joe at this point. They do that, and
there will be 20,000,000 Democrats rushing off the cliff.

7. And just about every journalist and pundit
will be very unforgiving, I would think.
