Biden as "change agent" for Obama.
My husband and I were chatting over breakfast this morning re: Joe and change. I don't buy this argument that Biden goes against the "change message" of Obama.

How can you change something inside of a system when you don't really know the intricacies, and HOW to change it? IMHO, Biden is the BEST choice for BHO, because he KNOWS how its done inside the beltway, and between the two of them, they could fix what is broken. Let's use the following analogy: You have a computer program that has gone awry. It keeps doing the same thing over and over again. Who do you send in? A plumber (like say Tim Kaine or Kathleen Sebilius, Evan Bayh) or do you send in a tech specialist, like JRB? Do you send in someone from the outside who doesn't know the mechanics of the problem, or do you send in someone who knows the system and the network?

I rest my case.

And it better be Biden for VEEP or I am kicking ass and taking no prisoners.

1. I agree entirely
Two "outsiders" could be a disaster. No matter how good one's intentions are, you need to know your way around Washington and congress. No one knows the ropes better than Joe. And Joe isn't stuck in the DC rut. He is always evolving and growing.

Also we need someone a little more worldly than Kaine, Sebilius, or Bayh, as world events are critical to the next administration.

2. I agree.
Changes in behavior and accomplishments can be made without necessarily changing the people involved.

4. Funny enough, Mr. Debi and I were discussing Biden over coffee this morning
Actually we were discussing Biden and Georgia (Mr. Debi has quite a bit of knowledge about Georgia from the early '90s forward). As he attempted to explain all the intricacies of the current events (he brought up NATO/WTO/Olympics) I swear my eyes started glazing over...how do these wonderful men keep these details straight in their heads. I finally told him to call JRB - the two of them would chatter like school girls and be giddy at each other's analysis. I, on the other hand, and grateful that SOMEBODY in our home has a brain for foreign policy.

JRB for VP - it's the only logical choice!

5. You have to get change done.
Or else it's just a dream.

Biden has gotten many, many things done.
