To cheer everybody up -
jokes!

"Democrats are furious, they're going on record now saying John Edwards will not be allowed to speak at the convention because of this affair. Yeah, instead speaking in his place: Bill Clinton. You have to put your foot down." --Jay Leno

I don't like this one, but you guys probably will:

"John McCain is now crisscrossing the United States campaigning. Or, as they're calling it, Antiques Roadshow." --Jay Leno

And if nothing else - this should make everyone smile:

1. Bwah!
My fave is McCain with that finger thing!

I would have killed for a pair of pants like Hillary had in the '60's. As a matter of fact, I probably had a similar pair. They were cool!

Thanks!!

12. His FIRST bath?
Were you able to give him subsequent baths after that? I would have been torn to shreds and that would have been the end of cat baths.

15. I don't know
I didn't bathe him. He went to my son's house first to be socialized (and bathed) and then off to San Diego. I have no idea if anyone attempted it again.

9. I just want to say
how sad I feel that everyone is going thru such tough times.

Funny, we don't even really know each other, but I feel so close to many of you.

Chins up, okay?

11. Unusual way to bond, isn't it?
Never thought something political could bring about such close relationships with people we haven't met in person.

13. I feel so bad for others, too --
and just scared for myself. I just figure it's my time in the barrel. I've had an exceptional life and this is just part of it. When I'm laying on my death bed it'll be just another memory of the past.

You guys are each and every one outstanding, exceptional people - and I feel close to you all, too. :grouphug:
