I'm tired
It finally was comfortable to go back to GDP and now it looks like it did during the primaries. I think for my sanity, I'll try and stay out of there until after the VP is announced. Hopefully, Obama will be merciful and announce soon before all hell breaks loose!

5. This is true
There will be the inevitable aftershocks and more wasted energy as people wail and pound their chests in public. For me, I'll open a bottle of wine and hang out here..........:hide:

2. Is that the cutest pic in the world????
Well, after he announces, then we'll have to hear from all the people who refuse to vote for Obama with X on the ticket, how Obama picked the wrong person, pronouncements from some that REAL Democrats would accept our nominee's choice, and who knows what else.

I know when Biden first dropped out I didn't have any interest in any of the other candidates, so I didn't even LOOK at any of those threads. Just watched the videos, read the anti-GOP threads, and it was MUCH nicer. I may have to do that again.

BUT, it will all calm down eventually, and we can all focus and channel our energy into fighting McCain rather than each other. I hope.

3. The great truth is, we KNOW Joe is going to
play a huge role in the Obama administration, and have great influence on our future, whether as a senior Senator, member of the Cabinet, or with an office right there in the WH. Isn't that just the finest thought!

8. This we know
and can take comfort in that. Let the others pull their hair out over matters that they cannot control. Meanwhile, I take pleasure watching the McCain campaign screw up on a regular basis.

6. Isn't it?
Its actually an LOL cat and it is priceless.

I've already read posts where people said if Obama picks X or Y for VP, they wouldn't vote for him. What kind of insanity is that? Obama is the presidential candidate, evidently these people don't have a strong preference for him if his VP choice would deter them so easily.

15. While we were posting on this thread
Had to do something constructive to keep out of the muck and mire!!!

She was the first to find a home. A woman my son works with fell in love with her picture and she is crazy about the cat - emails updates now and then. Its so nice to know she ended up in such a loving home.

16. Man - and a new sig LINE, too!
These pics make me need to go nuzzle Nero, so I'm heading up to bed where he's probably sprawled out. I curl up in the corner so I don't disturb him. :7

18. Oh NO! I'm dying here! How PRECIOUS!
And you have no idea how Nero has me trained. He comes to the side of my bed and meows. I have to move to the middle. He jumps up. If he wants to lie on my stomach, he kind of pushes me with his paw so I have to roll over on my back.

Then if he wants me to open the window, he'll swat at the blinds, then sit and wait for me to get out of bed and go over and open the window. If I don't move fast enough, he swats the blinds again and gives me a disgusted meow.

And more...

God, gateley, I thought I spoiled mycat!

Even they are stunned at the level of subservience I exhibit.
