Just more boring German scenery + sheep video clip

Okay, so most of this weekend I spent on my bike, man I am racking up the kilometers! My ass hurts today and my feet are bugging me. Time to rest.

I thought you all might like to see the pics I took today at the lake (Starnberg) I am convinced this is the most beautiful place I have ever lived. I am literally 5 minutes from the lake, I can swim, bike, you name it. I was supposed to meet hubby who is diving up about 17km on the northeast side, got there at 2pm and he was still in a tri-mix theory class, his teacher talks too much. I told him to tell Prof. H. to STFU, he needs to come swimming. Well, we ended up missing each other, I stayed until 4pm, he never made it. Hit a beer garden in Ammerland on the way home and then :banghead: walked my bike up this long freaking hill, almost 2 mi. it was too difficult to ride up, I was spent. But I did get a cool short video clip of some sheep on the way, it was totally silent and then I heard all this baa-ing and bells clingling. It was just too cool.

Now I want a farm. :shrug: Sheep, roosters, bees, HORSES!!! etc. :rofl:

1. Wow. Although I was VERY impressed by the Ice Cream Boat

(and am now craving some Ben and Jerry's after the visual of your cone), I'm with you on the farm. I can't describe how PEACEFUL it was for me, viewing that bucolic scene, with the gentle bells as music.

2. Well, the funny thing was...

I heard this bell, like on an ICE CREAM cart, but then here comes this boat whizzing across the lake! A guy on the sailboat (which I am also coveting) in front of me whistles, and the ice cream boat does a 180 and serves up his crew. So I furiously dig in my napsack, pull out some coins and wade into the water, he sees me next and brings a Magnum (bit fat ice cream bar with almonds and vanilla in the chocolate coating. Yummy.) Then he speeds off to the next boat, then to the shore.

All the while I was cracking up. I have never seen anything like that before. :rofl:
