Can someone explain something to me -
How is it possible that not one of the repukes dropped out after Iowa?
Not even Duncan Hunter.

1. Because...........
They gave actual vote counts. On the Democratic side, it was percents with 3 candidates having no percent at all even though they had voters there.

3. It just looked crappier for the Dems
To have those goose eggs even though a few of the Repubs probably weren't "viable" either if it had been done the same way. Plus the Dems were all bunchi-ed up around the 30% mark where the Repubs were all over the map. Around 10% was split between 4 candidates which is why Joe and Chris decided to drop out.

6. Huckabee won, that's all I know.
But the media said that he was a one hit wonder.
So we will see if they are right again.

8. Repugs are clueless
I think Romney won in my district. But of course it is by far the most "blue" county in the state. Anyone think Ron Paul has a realistic shot?

11. About Ron Paul --
I think that his support is evidence that a LOT of people are just fucking fed up. That's how I felt when Ross Perot ran -- just pull the rug out from under our country and START OVER -- we've screwed it up beyond repair. I think that's how they're feeling now.

I've mellowed over the years and am now painfully aware the precarious balance of the world and feel many of his policies would be dangerous.

9. Some candidates aren't really running for president
There are other motives in play. It gets them national exposure and may help them in other career ventures.

12. I was thinking about this in the shower today
(Some of us do our best thinking in the shower....at least for me it gives me a break away from my two boys under 3 :-) )

It's a damn shame....I am stuck on anger I tell you.
