Just got a call from our headquarters and they said that after yesterday's speech by Joe, they picked up a bunch of volunteers as precinct captains, and then received a bunch more calls last night from people asking to volunteer as a PC. They are excited. I don't know what they consider a bunch, but it's got to be more than 3. <grin>

Can't beat grassroots politic'g. They'll sneak up behind you and bite you on the butt. I think Joe is winning the undecideds, and don't forget that it was at 30% or so, yesterday. I hope that means it's going to be an easy contest.

Gotta get my hair done, but I will be stopping over there for supplies after 1:00 and will get back to you.

If yes, ask if they need a ride, and if they will stand with Joe.

It's down to the wire, so 2nd choice is important, but not crucial to know.

I'm getting so excited. The excitement in his voice was exactly what I needed. I just hope everyone shows up. The weather is no excuse, as the sun is out and there is no wind. People are excited about change and I think this caucus will surprise everyone, if for no other reason than the numbers attending.

I feel like I'm getting ready for a state basketball tournament. <grin>

We put our hearts and souls into this crazy process but, if Joe wins, that effort is nothing compared to the rigid schedule they have been on. I feel sorry for all of them, as they have also sold their souls to us for so long. They are all good people, and we should be so proud of each and every one of them.

That is part of the problem. We have the best list of candidates we've had in years and you just don't want to see any of them lose. Bless their hearts.

7. I was half-assed planning on staying in bed reading all day, dozing on and off

(which I can usually do no problem-o) but my eyes snapped open at 9am - which is unheard of for me since I didn't go to bed until almost 4am - and I was so restless. I'm actually toying with the idea of taking a xanax -- which I only use when I can't sleep.....
