Is their any such thing as PATTERNED FiestaWare?
We got a large set in the store the other week...
it was the classic Fieasta shapes, had the old-style
Fiesta logo on the bottom...but it wasn't a solid color.

It was tan, with a simple repeated abstract motif
in blue & red/brown that could have been a flower
or a starburst.

We researched it as best we could, and eventually decided
that it was fake Fiesta, so we put it on the shelf for $50.

Did we make the right call?

1. I checked at Replcements.com and they have many patterned Fiesta
http://www.replacements.com/thismonth/archive/fiesta.htm?s1=KX&1679960&

Not all the patterns listed have a photo example. But given the names, you could always search by name around the web for images. The only "star" pattern I could find in this list is a patriotic themed pattern called "Stars and Stripes".

4. Hoolee fookink shite:,that link had it! It was Fiesta Hawaiian Daisy!!!
This was what we had:

Oh goodness, did we sell that set for a song or WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!
Bwahahahaaaa!

We had a complete 6-piece plate-cup-saucer set,
along with 2 big serving plates, 3 assorted serving-boat things,
and a big honking lidded soup tureen...
The plates alone were worth $25 a pop...and we rolled all it out the door
for 49.99 + tax, because none of the "value guide" books we keep around
have any mention of such a pattern.

Oh, well,...that's just the way it goes in the thrift store biz,
I reckon.

We didn't lose any money, because that set came in as a donation.
(We're a CHARITY, y'know.)

And it's great "finds" like this that keep our regular customers
coming by, week in and week out.

So, it's all good.

Thanks so much for the link.
You rock.

Richard

6. You have a good attitude and that's a cute pattern
And at least you have a new place to research. Replacements has been around for some time and has been helpful to me to identify various dishes. It's one of those sites where a person can get lost for an hour.
