Italian glass bottles/decanter inscribed with "VE" on bottom
It seems that I have several different greenish glass bottles that all have the combined VE mark on them, with some other generic markings (eg, 75 cl or whatever)

Is the VE a generic mark of some kind that just means venetian? Or is it specific to some company?

These are relatively recent, mid century probably.

2. ...but now I have another bottle question
One of these "VE" bottles is a ship shape, a model of the Columbus Santa Maria - there are several on ebay, but here's one:

...oh, never mind, I just answered my own question (again, in the same thread, lol)

Well now that I started it, I'll post what it was - see this tequila bottle:

http://cgi.ebay.com/Mexican-boat-art-bottle-LaCofradia-LaLisa-Anejo-Tequila_W0QQitemZ260249443796QQihZ016QQcategoryZ369QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

It's La Cofradia, and it looks almost exactly like the bottle I have, but I just noticed that it's not the same. Very close though.

This one is like the one I have:

I was initially wondering if my bottle originally held the tequila, but now I think not. The Columbus ones (there are several on ebay, past and present) have a 1492-1992 molded into it, so maybe just sold without anything in it, as a decanter.
