1. Gold in what form, jewelry, ingots, scrap? Boy, what a way to get
stung. I would suggest to everyone to buy or sell to a reliable source. There are phony ingots out there as well as phony karat marks. Junk scrap is not usually marked because it usually consists of parts and pieces of other stuff.

Don't be tempted.

coins.

I wouldn't think of buying or selling gold on ebay.

But, on many items there are 15-20 bids. Why? Do they think they are getting around the markup that a dealer would slap on it?

3. I don't have any problem
buying PCGS or NGC coins or proof sets. It is no different than buying off of any of the other online coin dealers. If the dealer doesn't have decent feedback I wouldn't buy anything from them. Most of the graded gold sells for market +/-5% but every now and again one will sell 10-20% low. I don't buy junk gold anyway but would agree with being extremely cautious.
