Steve Heminger for Transportation Secretary?
Wikipedia mentions San Francisco Bay Area MTC chairman Steve Heminger as a possible pick for Transportation Secretary (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steve_Heminger). I wasn't familiar with this guy, but I like what I've read so far. If he is picked, it would signal a radical change in transportation policy. Which is why it probably won't happen and the job will go to yet another Clinton-era Washington insider instead. But I can dream.
