Marmar appreciation thread

I just wanted to say thanks to Marmar for all the valuable work he does keeping this forum informed of the latest news in mass transit. I don't think it's an exaggeration to say that he pretty much keeps this board alive single-handedly. Without him, I doubt we would stay above the "one post a week in any 3-month period" average needed to stop the DU admins from pulling it for lack of interest. I wish we weren't so reliant on one person, but I certainly appreciate having that person around.

That may be about to change. All of a sudden, what with gas costing more than Starbucks all of a sudden, transit-related issues are starting to pop up with some frequency in GD. When you see one, why not make a post directing those interested in the topic over here?

I hope others here will do the same if they spot a transit-related thread that I miss. As I'm sure you're aware, turnaround time in GD is very fast, and it doesn't take long for a thread to fall off the bottom, so it's easy to miss one if I'm looking in there at the wrong time.
