Another fun craft blog using sewing pattern images
I just stumbled on this craft blog called "Jane's Apron" --> http://www.janesapron.com/

She uses the images from vintage pattern envelopes in her crafts. It looks like she might be scanning and printing those to keep the originals intact. I've kept my patterns and gathered more of these over the years. It's always a sobering thought that the ones I used back in the 1970s are vintage now.

1. thanks for this, eleny--
she mentions using her 'counter book', so she probably has a lot of those *old* pattern books she cuts from, too. she has very cute ideas.

( some of my patterns are beyond 'vintage'!)

3. Me too
I have some store catalogs from the teens and early 1920s and love the fashion pictures. I've scanned some of those and played around with them in art software to clean them up and make them more colorful. Some I printed on cloth and sold to crafters for making chair pillows or stuffed dolls.

When I see more recent fashion called "vintage" I think - Ouch, I'm getting old!
