New work.

For the person who asked about working with alpaca, the shawl in baby alpaca. The yarn is a single ply, about half the thickness of sock yarn.

The capelet is merino wool and is elbow length.

3. If I wore jewelry of any kind
your beadwork is the type of thing I'd choose. Nice stuff.

A hint about knitting lace...stitch markers. Put one between every repeat. That way you won't have a whole row to recount to find your mistake, you'll only have the few stitches of a single repeat.

5. Update
I didn't have a decent picture of the capelet front when I posted before. Now I do.

6. Soooooooo beautiful!
I'm working with some gorgeous baby alpaca right now and I'm in love with it. I also discovered laceweight Malabrigo the other day - talk about a rush.
