Yikes! After the election I have really got to deal with my UFOs. She'll be doing wuilts, and jewelry for me.

1. That's awesome --
I've finally worked up the nerve to start selling my stuff. Now I just need to find some venues (sent off to one but it might be past the deadline).

Good luck!

2. I wonder...
In the hemp-related topic on GD I mentioned that I've made hemp oil soap and I really like it. It's not something I've ever sold, but someone mentioned that I should put it in the DU marketplace and I did. I've gotten a nice response from it so far.

Since the holidays are coming up, I wonder what everyone would think of doing a virtual DU craft fair. We could do a main thread in the marketplace and anyone who wanted to could add their craft items. I was surprised there was so much interest in soap, and perhaps there would be a lot of interest in other items. I know from the photos I've seen here that our fellow DU'ers do some beautiful work, and I think people like handcrafted gifts for the holidays. I know I'd be interested in buying some.

What do y'all think?

3. I think that's an awesome idea. Maybe post a new thread so people see it?

5. I get as much of my soap as possible from craftsters
Scent, shape, color--wonderful imaginations out there. And they tend to be priced like the more expensive store-bought varieties.

6. After the election, some longstanding UFOs got finished
Aquamarine nuggets and Swarovski

Recycled Christmas ornament with copper and glass beads

Swarovski pendants on light and dark backgrounds

More Swarovski bling

Four feet each of Japanese party bead bling

Glass in copper mesh wire with antique copper beads and findings, and hammered copper connectors

My Christmas beads just got here today, so didn't have time to do the seasonal stuff.
