Are you making anything for Easter/Spring?
I want to make some needle felted eggs. It started out with trying to felt some wool over styrofoam egg shapes. But I found that the felting process wasn't as much fun as using all wool.

So I decided to stuff some knee high stockings with wool and put them in the washing machine to wet felt them first. I can work the finished felted rounds into egg shapes by needle felting them and adding some other colors onto them. I got 5 wads of wool into the first stocking and 4 into the other.

Here's an example of what they can look like. Click on the image in the blog to enlarge it.

1. I'm finally crocheting the shrug that I was going to wear to my daughter's wedding.
It's in boucle yarn, a color called "watercolors" so it looks pretty "springy." Of course, it will be hot here soon, maybe too hot to wear it by the time I finish! Weekend project, my eye! :)

2. Sounds nice to wear in air conditioning during summer
Maybe to the movies? I always freeze in the theatres. Not that we go very often. But in summer I take something to put around my shoulders.

It sounds so pretty. So, you got the hang of those instructions, then.

3. I think I'm doing okay.
It's one of those patterns where it will be difficult to see if it's shaping up until I get further along but the counts are coming out okay.

Yes, we go from 104 degrees outdoors to 68 degrees indoors! It's difficult to know how to dress! :)
