Freepers Ban Giuliani Supporters
Interesting strife going on in freeperville.

http://www.observer.com/2007/free-republic-purge-conservative-web-site-bans-giuliani-supporters

Over the past few weeks, chaos has reigned in the “Freeper” community as members sympathetic to the former mayor's candidacy claim to have suffered banishment from the site. They were victimized, they say, by a wave of purges designed to weed out any remaining support for the Giuliani campaign on the popular conservative web forum. Another significant chunk of commenters have migrated away from the controversial site over the action, according to a number of former site members and conservative bloggers who have been tracking the situation.

Nice to hear they're melting down!

2. That's right Freepers. Pin your hopes on Duncan Hunter and Tom Tancredo
Stand by your principles. Mobilize! Get rid of the RINOs like Romney and Giuliani. Nominate a real conservative like Hunter. The Dems won't stand a chance against a man of such conviction and moral clarity.

24. McCain back then told the Christian right wing Extremist clerics to fuck themselves
so he lost much of the freeper vote---too bad he didn't hold that line.

8. They're starting to wake up to the fact that the war is bullshit, too--
so expect ol' JR, in the very near future, to put out a few "war on terra" bait threads and "zot" the guppies who don't bite the correct way.

That's the problem with ideologues, they don't do much of that 'forethought' stuff.

The Hollywood "elite" living the high life in LA and NYC, trying to start the culture war bullshit again, all the while spouting free trade rhetoric so extreme that it makes George W. Bush look like Ross Perot.

Because all we need right now is more Hollywoodization of politics and more unfettered free trade.

Next thing you know, Kiefer Sutherland will be running for president, promising the same tough-guy approach to terrorism he displayed on the hit TV show 24. After all, California already has the governator. :banghead:

29. Okay, whatever.
They will all continue to impoverish the poor, spend double what we need to on the military, give tax cuts to the rich, etc.

The differences are in the sideshow wedge issues, as far as I can tell.

There's no difference between any of the main candidates on economic policy or the war. Yet they consider Giuliani a socialist (I've seen them say it; you can't make this stuff up) because he's somewhat pro-choice
