5. As a Christian I find this quite offensive

One man holding a crucifix threatened to beat-up any gay person he saw.

If I could get on my religious soapbox for a minute (and I apologize if you're not Christian).

I'm sorry, but you do not use the Cross of our Lord Jesus Christ to attack someone. To me, the crucifix is symbolic of God's love for all mankind. For you non-Christians reading this, a central Christian belief is that God sent Jesus because He loved us, and that Jesus died on the cross out of love for us.

That individual needs to be reminded of that and stop abusing my faith.

Just when I thought certain US evangelicals were bad.
