Ask the Magic 8 Ball: "Will we go to war with Iran"?

http://web.ics.purdue.edu/~ssanty/cgi-bin/eightball.cgi

I tried it, and I am amazed to say that it mirrors exactly the answers you get here at DU when you ask this question, I SWEAR IT'S TRUE! Try it, I dare you.

I know, I and MANY others have asked this question here for several years, and the answers are always the same, and they coincide precisely with the Magic 8 Ball's answers. Absolutely, we will go to war with Iran. All signs point to yes. Definitely. No Way.

Just type in the question, "Will we go to war with Iran"? and watch the magic. Submit the same question again and again and you start to go numb.

(the above is not an endorsement of the Magic 8 Ball, but reflects the opinions of the general, random public at large on any question at all. It also certainly explains the long running success of the Magic 8 Ball, and most polls).

Seems to me the answer runs about half and half here.

1. It seems to offer about the same amount of reasoning behind its opinions, as well.
After all, who needs "logic" and "argument" based on "principles" and "facts" when we have a "right to our opinions"??

3. I predicted we'd invade Iraq, and there were no WMDs
back when Bush said there were no invasion plans on his desk.

so far, predicting the most reprehensible actions by this administration is 100% accurate.
I also predicted (against naysayers) torture at gitmo, lack of accountability, that the Iraqis would NOT throw flowers, that removing saddam would create a power vacuum, that citizens would be spied on without warrants under the patriot act, that habeas corpus would be rescinded, that protestors would be investigated as terrorists, and I was treated with contempt and derision when I did.

I was 100% correct in all cases.

If you wish to treat my prediction of invading/attacking Iran with the same derision, you'll be in good company, and at the end of the day, I'll be proven correct and the world will dip one step further into madness.

and people will act, again, like no one tried to warn them.
