5. Palst is American, working for the BBC
Because, as he will tell you, he could not find work doing the kind of investigative reporting he wishes to do for MSM in the US. As a result, the Brits know so much more about what is going on here that nearly ANY American.

12. Me too!!!! Meanwhile, has any one told USA Today that Palast has had a NY Times
best seller, that MSM willfully chose to ignore??? Still laughing here!

BTW! Have you seen the video of Palast and RFK Jr. of a talk they gave on May Day? It's great!

13. He has not told the whole story, just his role in it.
Caging was just one aspect of the effort to rig 2004. Palast is looking into the 2008 glass ball instead of prosecuting 2004 fully. And, he is selling his book, of course.

16. He's claimed to have evidence for several years now
It's time for him to put up or shut up. But, if you choose to believe him simply because he tells you things you want to hear, that's your business.

26. Evidence for what? He may not have shown every shred of evidence but he's shown plenty.
If I'm not mistaken it was his disks of the ex-felons used in FL to purge the voting rolls of Dems before the 2000 election that were used by the NAACP in their suit against Katherine Harris, Clayton Roberts, et al. that resulted in an agreement on the part of the state of FL to agree not to do it again (which the conveniently ignored of course the next election cycle, or tried to). If the case had proceeded, I think his "evidence" would have been pretty useful to the NAACP.

In many cases, his "evidence" isn't the whole nine yards but it's enough to indicate where the truth lies. I think the emails he claims to have regarding the USA scandal are almost certainly only a scant few of the million or so that were withheld, but what he has are probably quite suggestive.

Palast isn't superman, but he's certainly one of the best, maybe the very best, of the investigative journalists around right now.

27. Interesting. I appreciate your posting of that diary.
I have been spewing my love of Palast all over the place. And I think rightly so. But that diary gives me some healthy skepticism I otherwise didn't have.
