2. I have 100 plus questions, none related to immunity = R's COMPLICITY
Edited on Sun May-27-07 07:01 AM by L. Coyote
After watching the Godling testimony twice (three times for parts), the looms-largest question is complicity. The event was so scripted on the Rs side, almost a speech opportunity and certainly more cover-up than inquiry, that "complicity" seemed written betwen the lines throughout.

Here is a link to comments on second viewing, with more links therein:
MONICA GOODLING HEARING IS ON C-SPAN 2 ...NOW! For those who didn't get to see it.
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=389x970158

In particular therein there is a focus on Rep. Darrell Issa, a Congressman from Carol Lam's USA district, San Diego. Issa represents So. Cal's redneck suburbia, Orange County, and his Congressional distict adjoins felon Randy Cunningham's.

Issa is the Congressman who leaked the false accusations against Carol Lam about immigration prosecutions. His complicity in these matters long predates the firings and predates the Cunningham investigation. Why? Because the Medicare fraud inquiry comes first (and foremost, I suspect, given the $$billions$$ of Sicko bucks at stake). Here are the Medicare Fraud investigation/compilation threads:

US Attorney Firing: Voter Fraud, Medicare Fraud, WHICH IS IT ???

30 U.S. attorneys investigate BILKING BILLIONS, Medicare, Medicaid, Military’s Healthcare

There still are a lot of dots to connect. I really recommend reviewing the hearings with the info in these three threads as background. Then the questions/actions of the R players resolves into a rather clear picture of complicity in a cover-up, covering up the Culture of Corruption that is the current Republican Party. It is all about the $$billions$$ in Medicare Fraud, $$billions$$ in lobbying money, $$billions$$ and $$billions$$ in the feed trough these porkers are getting very fat at.

So, watch the magic show again, this time with a focus on the unseen hand. Note carefully where they want you to look, esp. the hand they point to with the Carol Lam firing, and then look for the unseen hand, what they are covering up. And, note this timeline detail:

3. Ha Ha Ha Ha...She's Probably Got A Nice Job Waiting
Just like the assistant DA in LA...some GOOP law or PR firm probably has a nice offer on the table if Monica stays the "good soldier" and either bites the bullet or pushes someone under the bus.

First, before she can be disbarred, she needs to have charges filed and a conviction. Disbarment almost always has to be based on a legal judgement. Let's find out a bit more about her testimony...especially her hiring in the Immigration Department...and her violation of the Hatch laws. Methinks there are a bunch of fuming prosecutors who'd love to take a shot at Ms. Gatekeeper.
