I assume bush, cheney & all the rest will 'get away with it'.
When all is said and done, and all the dead are buried, and all the carnage continues, daddy bush, dick cheney, bush jr., and every single neo con will walk away from it all, unscathed, un-scarred, untarnished, un-prosecuted, unrepentant, unapologetic and they'll simply collect their billions and trillions and retire in baronial splendor, lecturing, hob knobbing, living in mansions and dying peacefully in their sleep.

They've gotten away with it so far, why should it be any different after they've left office?

Shame on America.

1. I could be wrong but IMHO Bush will get very little money after he leaves office
Unlike Bill Clinton who made millions after leaving office, does anybody expect Bush to get a 10 million dollar book deal. I don't...

Does anybody really think somebody will pay Bush $250,000 for a speech... Not I..

IMHO the gravy train for Bush will end on the day he leaves office.

3. Jr. is still living off the Auschwitz slave labor profits from grandpa & Hitler.
And I'm sure that the bush's are well taken care of in the coinage department.

2. They will be looking over their shoulders for the rest of their lives

There will be all kinds of people and political groups who will have grudges against them, personal and political.

It's unlikely that Secret Service details for ex-Presidents are large enough to provide the kind of protection they will probably need.

They may have to hire Blackwater and the like.

4. Of course they will. Look at history. All the great robber barons who
manipulated the Depression and ruined so many people just got richer. Look at the bastards in the Nixon administration. Only the low level nutjobs did any time. You know, the fruitcakes who saw it as a badge of honor to take one for old Tricky Dick. Because we have the worst of the high level nut jobs BACK AGAIN today, finishing what they started. Eternal war, eternal greed, eternal corruption, the end of the people's right to govern. They are the elitist who feel it is their destiny to run this country, and the world.

6. This former and current neocon crew got away with Iran-Contra...........
and with the 'Laissez-faire' position of the current Democratic majority, it appears the MOST corrupt government in the history of our nation will 'get away with it' again. This is the ultimate in a national disgrace and says everything about the total collapse of the 'will of the people'.
