2. Those are two separate things.

the ULTRA on the list was the code name for intelligence gathered and decrypted from the German ENIGMA machine. It was deemed so important that it was higher than "top secret". MKULTRA was the CIAs mid control program, read John D. Marks book The Search for the Manchurian Candidate. DU usually moves this to the conspiracy forum because of the different crap that people come up with involving MKULTRA.

in Studies in Intelligence which you are correct, there is a classified and declassified version. It deals mostly with history and tradecraft. You can order the declassified version from the Government Printing Office.

5. My bad, I didn't see that book called "Brainwashed"

i guess there is a book about MKULTRA on that list, but don't confuse that with the other ULTRA program. NSA has another classification called UMBRA, Damn! Keeping all these cryptonyms straight is hard work!

6. Fwiw, the prefix MH (example MH CHAOS) denoted a worldwide operation

and the prefix MK (example MK ULTRA) denoted a Technical Services Division/TSD operation.
