For those of you with loved one's serving...
Although I may bitch and complain about the current administration, please do not confuse my ranting for criticism of the armed forces.

I have family members who have served, and thankfully lived to tell their stories. I worked with the DoD in my earlier life and I know several people who are now serving in the current theatre of war.

I hate this administration, but I feel for every soldier and family member who will spend this Memorial Day praying that their loved ones will come home.

My prayers are with all who are serving, here and abroad. I am lucky this year, my step-sister is serving in the Air Force and she is stationed near Las Vegas. Her husband just returned a few months ago and will be able to take his terminal leave in a few weeks and get out, physically unharmed.

Bless you all.

1. No rational person thinks that criticism of Bush is directed at the troops.

My brother is stuck over there until January at least. He was supposed to be out of the Army by now, but they decided it would be better if he stayed an extra year beyond his enlistment, with no bonus for doing so.

3. The Country needs this kind of person. It is our job to see that
their trust in this Country is not betrayed by those who would use our troops for ill.
