This has been a great 2 days for the Profession Left.
Yesterday, the House Dems had enough of Obama's desire to give away the store because of his bipartisan fetish.

Where most peoples' fetishes include things like "whip and chill" or strategically placed hot fudge sauce, these things are between two or more adults and WILL NOT do harm to the middle class and working poor as the tax "compromise" would do.

Today, Bernie Sanders (I-Vermont), America's senator, is giving the most wonderful, sanity-restoring filibuster. This is American commonsense.

Kudos, Sen. Sanders.

You realize that "Professional Left" refers to the paid, left-leaning punditocracy, don't you? It's not the average DU poster.

Hence the term "Professional" - like athletes, those who are paid for what they do.

3. Well, Olbermann is tweeting for Bernie with great glee.
It's pretty obvious he's happy about it.

4. No surprise, but I really meant to clarify the "Professional Left" terminology
Edited on Fri Dec-10-10 05:41 PM by CakeGrrl
It's a misinterpretation that's taken hold from the day Gibbs said it.

6. Interpretation is a matter of opinion, not scientific fact.
Just to get the terminology clear.

5. Bernie gets a paycheck and he is also a regular on Thom's show.

7. Professional Left - (n) a recent term by corporatist Dems
against the left wing of the Democratic party -- the so-called FDR Democrats. Syn with: "Left of the left."

Look it up.
