Clarke is running
top of the page on MYDD.

I took this from the story and you Clarkites, go have fun and read it.
I am not a supporter but, thought you'd love an answer to what you have waited for:

I just got off the phone with a "Platinum source" that has confirmed and I quote the Clark 2008 Presidential Campaign's "Engine is turning". So, I was wrong. Clark is running.

After Clark speaks to the DNC in Washington DC this Friday morning he will appear on Hardball with Chris Matthews. Um, Clark is a FOXnews analyst. Odd eh?

Expect an announcement soon.

10. Finally. I have had the same avatar for the last 3 plus years
in the hope Clark would run again. I pray this is true. He'll get every dime I can afford. He can save this country and bring us together again.

11. Does everyone agree that this is reliable info?
I really want it to be true, and don't want to be disappointed. Run, Wes, run! I must say, I have been underwhelmed by some of the candidates that have announced lately. Please let this be true.

22. reliable?
Who knows...but Wes Jr did post on the kos thread about this...

I think he said "Don't hold your breath waiting for an announcement anytime soon"...I'd consider Wes 2.0 a bit more reliable than the anomymous poster.....but you see that he did add that "anytime soon" on there...So it doesn't mean he's not running.

16. I know, he's about the only one out of the field I don't have a problem with...
as of yet. I'd have to hear more about his positions before I make a final judgment, but he seems like the real front runner.

14. And make that "Clarkies" please. . .
picky-picky-picky, I know, but Clarkites sounds stilted. . .and no way are we Clarkies artificial or rigidly formal. . .

the only thing that's rigid 'bout us is that

we got starch in our spine from 2004 experience. . .

2008.. .here we come! YIPPPPEEEEE!

15. Honestly, unless something awful comes up...
he's about the only one with experience who won't make political decisions with people's lives.

:patriot:

GO CLARK! I would be so fucking happy to see Clark/Obama '08, wouldn't you?

19. Pssst... It's Clark (without the "e") and my husband said the same
thing.

My husband never met him, but did serve under him for a short time in the late 90s. He said all the men (and women) serving under him knew he was smart and had a "photographic memory."

In fact, on our first date, my, now husband, was walking through my house and saw all my Clark paraphernalia from the campaign and said, "So, you like General Clark," and I thought, "Oh, no... a right wing comment is about to pop out of his mouth," but said, "I sure do. He should have been the nominee." To my surprise - and a continuance of the relationship - my date said, "Yep. He's the smartest man I ever worked for."

:)
