2. Otters ROCK!
They are one of my very favorite animals -- playful, clever, curious -- just enchanting to watch.

5. My doggy girl has always done that when feeling uncertain... or
otherwise in need of comfort. Curling around my feet or hiding behind my legs (a trick for a 75 pound dog, I must say). Even at 11 years old, she still loves to nestle next to my feet.

Cute as can be, that little guy. Glad he has found a good home.

That is adorable.

I get a newsletter from The Monterey Bay Aquarium..and they recently rescued an orphaned sea otter too.
There were videos of it learning ow to swim and eat fish. It was adorable. They named her Kit.

10. I love otters!
We had river otters at the primate sanctuary where I used to work. I took care of them and a baby gibbon. Bestest job ever!

12. Why all the ice cubes? in that last pic?...did she drop her soda?
Or do otters prefer cold water?
