Mark Green was really smacking down Melanie Morgan in a discussion about the new books about Hillary. Melanie says she really dislikes the Clintons.

5. Tweety loves to bash the Clintons and Democrats in general.

He's an old fashioned/old world "man" who is in love with the establishment powers that be.
Morgan is gone from PBS but she will always have a home on GOP TV (cable "news")

He may like the Democrats populist ideals and opposes the war in Iraq, but he loves the "tough" image of Repubicans even more, as well as his tax cuts.

6. Yep, I watched and I was glad to see Tweety STOP Melanie FLAT!

She was starting to try to discredit Mark for AAR previous failures, and Tweety jumped in and said "I know where this is going. OK Melanie...STOP!"

I though Mark did a great job, and melanie is just a RW shill who never makes any sense or tells any truth!

She reminded me a lot of the idiot Rep from Tenn. who was on WJ yesterday AM. The smiling, whining, Christian Pub who will slam any Dem or Dem idea just because that's the way you do it.

15. Mathews really slaped Melanie

Green was trying to make a legitimate point Melanie interrupted to take a personal attack against Green. Tweety said "I know where that is going and its below the belt. Stay with us. Melanie, Oh God. We're going to break."

It was like he knew how awful she was. Maybe he won't have her on again.

It's actually the first time I've had the displeasure of seeing Melanie in person. I hope it's the last, too.

I'm doing okay. I'm actually more disappointed than angry. I understand why they did it and still trust them.

There's a vigil at 11 & Woodward at the church tomorrow at noon. I'll be there if it's not raining.

14. The one thing to keep in mind....

the withdrawal wouldn't have started until October anyway, and the funding just takes them to September. Someone pointed that out yesterday and it helped.
