AL GORE for the hour -- Charlie Rose tonight -- sounds like MUST SEE TV
Bill Maher's having Michael Moore visit tonight.

Then Al Gore for the hour with Rose?

Priceless!

2. Thanks for the heads up
I didn't even know we got Charlie Rose's show. I'll set the VCR if I'm too tired to watch.

7. Is Gore the man he claims to be?
I was gaga for Gore after seeing "An Inconvenient Truth".
Then I started to read some things. Here's something to ponder.

http://www.counterpunch.org/stclair03032007.html

Besides NOT talking about the environment during his 2000 run, what on earth did this man do for the Earth during his 8 years in a considerable position of power and influence. ( Yeah, I know he was influential in convincing Clinton to acquire more public lands and the "No roads rule". Lowered auto emissions? Renewable energy? Where was he then?) My rose colored glasses are definitely gone. I cast a jaundiced eye on Big Al, the gaze I cast on all politicos. I wish it wasn't so, but it is. I will watch, and I will wonder.

10. This is one of Charlie's finest interviews. He's challenging Gore ...
... and Gore's responding beautifully.

Bigtime.

11. Gore no longer challenged by the camera. Comfortable in his own skin
Edited on Sat May-26-07 12:34 AM by Bozita
Al has matured in a political sense. He IGNORES the camera now.

And it works.

Run, Al, run!

15. gore (something to the effect of) i'm not going to say i won't run
and then the old i don't expect to

he wants to make a difference with global warming
says if something really caught his attention for a reason to run then he might/would

al--your reason to run is right in front of you--it's the passion you have for the environment.

if anyone could fix this world quick, if any one person could make the difference between too late and not too late it's you, al.

you'd be the most powerful man in the world with the will to fix this planet.

it's a win/win no matter which way you look at it.
