It's too bad she chose to go to the mats over word games. You can't prove 9/11 was a conspiracy, so why waste time going there. There are so many important things that we needed her voice on, she really blew it as far as I'm concerned. Still, I'm also disappointed nobody is taking up for her. 17. Huffington Post has up a couple of stories about Rosie leaving.

There are lots and lots of comments - probably about half negative, half positive. The repetitive theme from the haters is that they are all calling Rosie a coward for not finishing the last three weeks of her contract. Of course if she had returned on Monday the same morons would have said she needed to leave right now.

What surprised me the most is the number of female hating Rethugs that use the Huff Post.

She has been more vocal against bush and the war recently. I think Rosie opened the door and she felt even greater freedom to speak out. I hope she will continue to be vocal on the issue. She is my favorite, but I had stopped watching the show several years ago (when Lisa Ling left and Elisabeth was added). Rosie brought me back! I taped the View and Countdown everyday... I will miss Rosie. She's like Tabasco--adds a kick!

but I don't think this poll is being freeped, most people I know and associate with have a visceral dislike for Rosie O. These aren't freepers I'm talking about, some examples: my parents more to the left than I am hate the woman, my mother just wishes she would shut her mouth and let other people finish their thoughts. My friends stay at home wives, far from Suzie homemakers, wish Rosie would shut her mouth and let others talk......There are more anectdotes, but the bottom line is most LIBERALS I know found Rosie annoying, loud, obnoxious, pretentious, and annoying. I don't think this poll is being freeped.....I voted that I was glad she was gone......

I believe those that dislike Rosie feel that women need to be 'nice.' Women should be 'thin.' And they should be 'quiet.' In our culture, there is an unwritten law: NO UPPITY WOMEN ALLOWED.

And let's not forget that Rosie is a LESBIAN who has adopted children....that really bugs the hell out of a lot of folks...even those who call themselves liberal.
