Is it accurate to say the 'Saudis', want Iran bombed as our media keeps reporting?
These 'Saudis', that the Wiki Leaks cables refer to are nothing but stooges kept in power by an American CIA affiliated mercenary company called Vinnell Corporation. How can our media say the 'Saudis', want anything with a straight face? Those stooges protected by this American corporation say what we want them to say. Otherwise we pull their protection and replace them with some different stooges. The 'Saudis', America keeps protected in their palaces, and that our media keeps referring to, aren't representative of the average Saudi citizen. I would like to hear what the real Saudis have to say about this.

1. Perhaps that is why Iraq was invaded after 9/11, and not Saudi Arabia..where
the majority of the bombers were from..

2. Evidently much of the financial support for the "terrorists" comes from Saudis...
I believe they just want to see many more Americans killed for nothing.

4. Your source is wikileaks the media is just reporting what was released
So it depends on whether the notes or the conversation itself were reporting accurate info

5. Some of them would be delighted if we took each other out. Two birds, one stone.
Not our "friends."

As for Vinnell Corp., along with the rest of the Saudi population, the Royals will always need someone to take out the trash and wash the windows.

They do windows.

6. The Saudis Are Playing All Ends...
As are the Pakistanis...and both to keep their populace from rising up. There's two Saudi Arabia's involved here. The government/royal family that sees Iran as an economic threat in the oil markets and their position at the choke points of the Arabian Gulf as a threat to their oil lifeline. They've long supported the oil boycott against Iran as well as quietly paid to put Saddam (another competitor and threat) on ice.

Then there's the clergy/royal family...the Wahabis...the extreme brand of Islam that has spread money and influence throughout the region and is represented by bin Laden and Al Queda. Yes, there are connections that this government has long ignored as oil trumps all in US/Saudi relations (and the Saudis know it). Keeping the radicals on the payroll keeps them from bringing an Iranian style revolution to Riyadh (the royal family's greatest fear).

"Real" Saudis don't get to say much considering the strict repression of speech and expression in that country. The fact that 11 of the 19 9/11 hijackers were Saudis could be a big clue.

Remember, oil trumps all...we've long given the Saudis a pass as it's "good business".

Cheers...and brrrrrrrrrrrrr...

8. Good post but one small correction
15 of 19 Sept. 11 hijackers were Saudi. Not 11.

Yea, its cold as hell. My two female dogs have stopped drinking water so they don't have to go out so much and stick their you know whats into that cold snow to pee. Don't blame them.

See ya later.

What evidence do you have the average Saudi citizen disagrees with the views of the royal family? I have seen none.
