From: http://blog.windycitywatch.com/2010/12/is-bristol-palin-making-lesbian-joke-by.html

Is Bristol Palin making a lesbian joke by mentioning k.d. Lang & Indigo girls in Facebook reply to Margaret Cho?

Not to sure why Bristol Palin brings up k.d. lang & the Indigo Girls in her response to Margaret Cho's claim that her mom, Sarah Palin, made her appear on Dancing With the Stars, unless of course she is trying to start some crap.

Bristol writes on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/notes/bristol-palin/cha-cha-cha-to-cho-cho-cho-heres-a-hint-three-dog-night/174852705875956

To my friend Margaret Cho, if you ever have a question, call me girlfriend. Don't ever rely on "sources" who claim to know me or my family. You will be taken every time. And we need to talk. You say you "don't agree with the family's politics at all" but I say, if you understood that commonsense conservative values supports the right of individuals like you, like all of us, to live our lives with less government interference and more independence, you would embrace us faster than KD Lang at an Indigo Girls concert.

Hmmmm. What are your thoughts?

20. Yep
Especially after that drivel about Olbermann with the $10 words was mocked mercilessly the other day. I guess they got the message about using the speaker's voice, not that this nails it yet as it is clearly an adult trying to sound cool.

With the constant changes in tone, she either has multiple personality disorder or the monkeys are working overtime.

(Rebecca Mansour). 'Don't doubt the whole family is homophobic, but Bristol can hardly string a coherent verbal sentence together. Do you really believe she wrote this?

1) Gay slur w/ out a doubt
b) If Bristol wrote that then I one the Heisman trophy @ Ohio U.
"but I say,"
iii) Although, both the Indigo Girls and k.d. Lang are big talents neither have been
in the public eye for years so I doubt young Ms. Bristol is very familiar with any of
the 3.

Seeing how willfully small their world is, how would Bristol and her trash bag family know who K.D Lang is anyways? Gretchen Wilson? Of course, since Gretch the Wretch is lowly trash too, that the Palins would know.

34. Hoo boy . . .
It saddens me that people would think that my mom would "blame" me for anything that occurred in the 2008 election--much less "harshly" and "openly." I think that canard (there, I said it again), has been floating around since then also. I will set the record straight, though my mom already did in her bestselling book "Going Rogue"; there were a number of reasons President Obama won in 2008, but the primary reason was that the economy was starting to falter and the majority of voters thought Obama could do a better job than my mom and John McCain. It turns out, two years later, the majority of voters were wrong, but we can talk about that another time. The point is, I seriously doubt anyone who considers herself a student of American politics truly believes I impacted even one vote in that election.

Oh, we don't, "Bristol". Yer mum did a right fine job of that herself, and despite the opinions of even many on this board, your mom couldn't get more than 50% of the vote now or two years from now. Your mother and all people who continue to believe "Trickle Down" works are about as lunatic as your average insane asylum resident.

The majority of voters were wrong? If McCain and your shit-stupid mom took the reins, we'd be looking at Great Depression II: Bigger, Longer and Uncut. You talk about history - you may want to read up on what happened the last time a Repub president tried to use ultra-conservative solutions to fix an arch-right/Corporation-created economic disaster.

And, YES, it was a clear lesbian slam. Probably the four biggest "lesbian" buzz terms used by the right are (1) Ellen Degeneres, (2) Rosie O'Donnell, (3) KD Lang, and (4) Indigo Girls.

Sounds like Dennis Miller.

I love how the Palin daughters can use gay slurs and disparage gays and everyone thinks its totally cool. She is also being obviously insulting considering conservatives are openly hostile to homosexuals and Margaret Cho is bisexual.
