Let Them Expire

Of course it won't happen, but Dems should just call their bluff and let all the damn tax cuts expire. Then instead of having this political malpractice having a conversation about "extending the Bush tax cuts" Obama can create his own shiny new tax cut plan. Like he should have done 6 months ago.

Does anybody know what they're doing?

1. Exactly. I'll gladly pay another $800 or so a year in taxes if it means
getting BILLIONS out of those free-loading wealthy Republics.

4. Same here, and that's close to my increased bill
and I'm perfectly willing to pay it for the good of this country.

Some tax cuts, especially those to marginal workers and people with children, should be considered on their own merits down the line, but for now, let the whole stinking mess expire.

And let them go on the air blaming John Kyl for it.

6. I have crossed over to apathy. I don't really give a shit what they do.
If the cuts expire, the added revenue won't be able to be spent on anything anyway. The new House will see to that.

The Republicans and the Tea Party are dismantling the United States because they can't deal with a Black President.

The "fat lady" is about to sing her heart out.
