Delta Might Just Give You A Refund If You're Afraid of the TSA
If all that touchy feely security stuff has you a little intimidated about flying this holiday season, you might want to consider buying your ticket with Delta. There’s no guarantees, but the airline has stated that they would consider refunds to anyone that chooses not to fly due to TSA-a-phobia.

Several airlines—like American and US Airways—have come out to confirm that new TSA procedures won’t change their refund policies, but as of now, it seems like Delta is the only airline willing to budge on instances where customers request a refund resulting from TSA troubles. If you’re really concerned you can always book a fully refundable ticket; however, those are probably at least twice as expensive as the traditional non-refundable ticket options.

Just don’t think the news out of Delta will allow a free-for-all when it comes to canceling tickets for any reason, as a spokesperson for Delta indicated that refunds will still be determined on a case-by-case basis. There isn’t a new refund policy available at the airline by any means, so if you’re going to try to score a full refund be prepared to fully present your case.
