Reminds me of some I saw of areas of S. Florida last year where whole subdivisions were going under. Also the homes with the Chinese drywall. Devastating.

I've been there, driving from Chicago to Tucumcari in about 36 hours in my younger days.



In terms of natural splendor, the desert is a beautiful place.
