The reason why I fear that DU won't reach its goal because I have seen so many posts how Dems are murderous thugs and how they're jumping ship to form a Third Party. In the end, they will vote in a Republican President in 2008 (which is what will happen) because it happened in 2000 and 2004. Then everything will worked for in the 20th century will go away... I DON'T WANT everything we worked so hard to go away because of what happened today. I want to extend our majorities in the House and the Senate and to have a Democratic President elected in 2008.
