Sarah Palin Reminds McCain of Reagan
Source: ABC News

Senator John McCain, R-Ariz., compared Sarah Palin to Ronald Reagan on Sunday and said he was “proud” of his 2008 running mate.

“I think she's doing a great job. I think she has motivated our base. I think she had a positive impact on the last election, and I'm proud of her,” McCain told CNN’s Candy Crowley.

Asked if he thought Palin was a “divisive force” the Senator laughed saying, “I think that anybody who has the visibility that Sarah has is obviously going to have some divisiveness. I remember that a guy named Ronald Reagan used to be viewed by some as divisive.”

This is not the first time McCain has likened Palin to Reagan. Last month he told ABC News' Terry Moran "I haven't seen anyone since Ronald Reagan that with certain individuals and large groups of individuals who really have this passionate belief and support for her. It's really a remarkable thing to observe."

Sarah Palin, who even now makes bone-headed mistakes like calling North Korea an ally, continues to be pushed by the Fox News media and pundits as a viable Republican presidential candidate. Conversely, candidates from the left are pronounced dead on arrival and ignored. Can you imagine if Kucinich received the type of news coverage Palin did. Instead, Kucinich only gets coverage if he attacks President Obama from the left to push the narrative that the left has abandoned President Obama. Otherwise, anyone in the left is ignored.

2. Yea, they were both nuts! Reagan wasn't quite as bad as SP when he was first elected but
as time went on, he certainly reached her catagory of people with the inability to think rationaly. Too bad many Pubbies will think McNut meant those words as compliments.

4. Not comparable
Reagan, by the end of his term in office, was a lot smarter and a lot sexier.

5. how dare she say we will stand with our allies in north korea.
she's a private citizen who acts like she's part of our government.

her ego is so big she doesn't even care how stupid people think she is.

remember when McCain said "joe the plumber is my hero". i knew then that he had lost his mind.

10. HOWEVER...
That makes her a likely candidate for a high political office.

Doesn't it?

6. Senility is hardest on those closest to you.
It is easier for you, Senator. You can watch your favorite, Ronnie's Bedtime, (and other B&W classic hollywood flicks), over and over again, being freshly entertained each and every time. But for the rest of us, it is painful to watch your descent into blithering idiocy.

8. He'll never take accountability for chosing her to fill the ticket.
He feels compelled to valdiate his choice or he'll have to admit it was one of his worst decisions.
