SCOTA, proves just how far right this country has been pushed.

Still, Stevens was right about the 2000 election, except that he doesn't see the decision as partisan on the part of the 5 justices who stopped the Florida re-count. And that wasn't the only problem with that election in any case. How about the 60,000+ voters (likely Democratic voters) stricken from the Florida voter rolls because their names were similar to convicted felons? I know, I'm preaching to the choir here.

Stevens also came down hard on the decision to allow corporations to freely spend unlimited amounts of cash influencing voters.

Also, the fascists seem to be out in full force in commenting on this piece at CBS. What country are we living in?

1. remarkable man, remarkable segment.
He puts his finger on the root cause of it all - the illegal placement of Bush in the White House in 2000....and how destructive and wrong the Citizens United decision was.

4. What country? Franco's Spain
The entire system is completely corrupt. There isn't a single government entity that isn't in need of overhaul. And until we actually come face-face with what needs to happen to Big Media/Hate Radio to get us out from under, the is absolutely zero change for recovery.
