Who's Bright idea was it to vote directly before Memorial Day?

As far as I can tell Politics has de-evolved into nothing more than PR WARS..

If the Dems were In CONTROL of this bill, then WHOSE bright idea was it to Vote, and hang this Albatross around their necks EXACTLY when the PR WAR Masters (the goddamn right wing media) would HAMMER on Troops and Blend all those Brave men (and women) who fought REAL EVIL (not a war for Enrichment) like Hitler and Mussolini into the Rembrance of so many of the Valiant?

Couldn't the DEMS have waited until Next week?

They should have been SLAMMING on the RUBBER STAMP REPUBLICANS from the start, those who ACTUALLY ARE keeping the Troops over there, and killing them for Political GAIN..

How about some WANTED Posters for those RIGHT WING SELLOUTS who we KNOW went to Bush to "complain" that they weren't going to BACK HIM anymore, and who Most assuredly voted FOR WAR today.

Let's NOT forget it's NOT just the DEMS, and Frankly I don't want to fall into the ROVE TRAP of cannibalizing our OWN PARTY.

Don't forget this has been a TRICK, not to excuse the Bad PR by the Dems or their actions, but they've been Routed again.

And as a Veteran I stand behind our Poor Troops who have been played as pawns, as well as those who kicked Hitler's ASS in the past.

1. Somewhere along the way I have picked up the assumption
that it was Harry Reid's.
When they were on their last recess for Easter I believe it was and Bush was bashing the Democrats for taking a holiday while the troops starved to death and had to throw bullets with their hands...they came to an "understanding" that the issue would be solved before the Memorial Day holiday.
So the Democrats simply caved so that Bush couldn't say bad things about them being on vacation while the troops suffered.

there will be even more dead soldiers to remember next Memorial Day.
