You know, the last trouist trips of the season to North Korea ended a week or so ago?

You can go to visit PyongYang on these trips. You are obviously with a "guide" the entire time and only see what they want you to see (I know a few people who have gone). But I find the timing of this latest dust-up interesting as it comes at a time when the last trips of the season are over. They don't recommence until March. I wonder if there's anything to that.

To us it may seem like no big deal if there's a thousand foreign tourists in the country, but to them it may be a big deal. Oddly also is that Americans can now visit year-round. It's like they're opening tourism up, but clamping down on everything else. Kind of strange.
