Let's be thankful for Austin, Texas
and Ronnie Earle, Travis County D.A.

Ronnie filed criminal charges against Tom DeLay back in 2005 when DeLay was the all-powerful House Majority Leader, and DeLay was forced to resign.

The only thing a Texas politician fears is a Travis County D.A. and a Travis County jury.

3. Yea, Austin rocks BUT -
the higher Courts in Texas are full of very red Republicans and they will do everything in their power to throw this thing out. Plus, Delay is eligible for probation so don't be surprised if that's what he gets. Texas has become redder than ever and it totally SUCKS.

4. K&R
I grew up in Austin in the good old days. I hate all the freeways they have added. But at least some thing remain the same.
