Sarah Palin doesn't like female people.
This is specualtion on my part, but there's a lot of evidence to back it up.

The more I see and hear Sarah Palin, the more I believe she harbors a deep hatred for women and all things traditionally associated with women, with one exception--Sarah Palin.

Her endlessly touted "work ethic", as far as I can tell, only applies to typically male dominated fields and activities such as fishing, hunting, farming, plumbing, and so forth. Never once have I seen her visit a hospital and praise the health care worker, a factory where men and women work equally hard for the money, a child care facility, a school where women teachers are often in the majority (I'm trusting you'll all accept that this is leaving out obvious exceptions and doing some stereotyping), and so forth. She has, in the past few days, blasted Katie Couric, Barbara Bush and Michelle Obama, all women who, whether I agree with their ideals or not, are strong and have some power. I have never seen her share a podium with, have a debate with, or in any way treat another woman as a peer, only as someone to sneer at. Her associations with women tend toward Christine O'Donnell, whom she treats as a doppelganger.

Her male children appear to be off limits while she flogs those daughters as if she was riding them in the Kentucky Derby. Hoping for some kind of maternal attention, they appear to be identifying with her by jumping into media roles that emulate her pageant days and her mean girl responses to any criticism.

Palin strikes me as perceiving herself as the protagonist in a modern romance novel, the lone and exceptional woman who can out shoot, out fight and out chew any man, and who is lusted after by all men. Women? They are just competition for her self-centered, mysogynistic idea of what realtionships are.

President? If you're a woman you'd better hope not.

1. She's probably had a harder time using her looks to sell her B.S. to women.

2. Interesting take.
If she was a more interesting person, a look into her childhood might turn up support for your hypothesis. But I can think of 100 other people I'd rather learn about.

4. I don't know.
She does go on and on about her "Mama Grizzlies." And she did support Christine O'Donnell, Sharron Angle, Michelle Bachman and the two rich bi***es in California. I think Linda McMahon, too.

She probably considers herself their leader.

10. I think she takes a similar approach to them as to her daughters.
Useful. And lesser.

5. Sarah Palin hates everyone. She's a grifter who by definition are Sociopaths
Edited on Wed Nov-24-10 05:34 PM by lunatica
Grifters are con men and women who see a mark in everyone who they can get something they want out of. They don't even care about their families. Her Mama Grizzly act is all a show. Every time she mentions her kids it's all about getting attention. Grifters are always scheming.

6. I've pointed out before that working women despise her
because they've generally had the misfortune to work with somebody just like her, a schmoozer who flatters or sleeps her way into a job she's clearly not qualified for, dumps all the work on her former coworkers, and sabotages them whenever she can because she resents the fact that they can do the work and she can't.

Eventually management catches a clue, usually when department morale is in the basement and even lifers are quitting and she flits off to another job she's not qualified for and starts the process all over again, this time with a plum job on her resume and devastation marking her wake.

She's pure death to any woman who she perceives as any sort of a threat, meaning any woman who isn't 500 pounds overweight or over a room temperature IQ.

16. that's right
we have all worked with someone like her. If it was not for males in the media she would not have gotten as far as she has.
Katie Couric has her number as do most females in the media. She was the only one to conduct a real interview with her while the men are either fawning idiots like Beck or softball throwers like Charlie Gibson.

Palin has even thrown her own sister under the bus regarding Bristol's pregnancy.

18. did you see that magazine cover during the 2008 campaign??
It was a real close-up and it showed her whiskers. Not just a mustache or what most women will get but a real out whiskers on her cheeks, and you could see they have been lightened. So I figure she is one of those ladies with a high testosterone level. And she is a repub. They usually dislike women. Listen to Rush.

and found her. In observing her occasionally when I feel strong, I would say the personality we're seeing unfold is one of someone who went out and planted herself in their world and I have a fear beneath the surface that if she ever gets further in it is going to be about her religion and church and view of controlling - first, foremost. I can envision her first executive order. It makes me shudder. I think she is lethal relative to humanity.

I also don't see much of a mother in her. I have never felt that she was one with her special needs baby. Never. The vibes coming from her in relation to her family is all show. Cold. She is a user. Just my long distance vibes.

She has that right wing arrogance and confidence in her lies and distortions and moving the target. She has it in abundance.

Those who "respect" Sarah Palin, by and large, don't seem to like their own gender. :(
